Snowmobile Tour
Take advantage of this unique Whistler winter activity and snowmobile through the pristine backcountry. Your guide will introduce you to the sport of snowmobiling in an exciting, safe, and informative environment. The snowmobiles have automatic transmissions. Beginner or Intermediate options are available for the Snowmobile Tour. Once you have completed your orientation, you’ll follow your guide through magnificent terrain including old growth forests, breathtaking views and frozen lakes.
Duration: 2 hours (round trip) with approximately 1-hour ride time.
Superfly Ziplines
Ziplining combines the exhilarating feeling of soaring through the air with the breathtaking beauty of Cougar Mountain. With cutting edge technology and SIDE-BY-SIDE ziplines, you and a friend can fly through the British Columbia backcountry above breathtaking alpine wilderness, river valleys, old-growth forests, and more.
Duration: Approximately 3 hours round trip
Snowshoeing Tour:
The Natural Mystic Whistler Snowshoeing Tour is perfect for first timers. In an open air 4x4 vehicle, you’ll go high up Rainbow Mountain for a guided trek through a beautiful coastal rainforest and experience spectacular views over some of the highest peaks in the Whistler backcountry. Your experienced guide will lead you through undulating terrain in the tranquil and pristine wilderness, teaching you about the local environment.
Duration: 2.25 hours (round trip from Cougar Mountain base) with approximately 1-hour snowshoe time..
When: Mid December to mid April subject to trail conditions.
Need to know:
- Meeting location is at the tour provider's Cougar Mountain base camp, a 10-minute drive from Whistler Village.
- Minimum age is 7 years old.
- Minimum weight is 27kg (60lbs).
- Maximum weight is 113kg (250lbs).
- What to wear: dress as if you were skiing – warm layers, snowpants, winter jacket, warm gloves and boots.
- You must be a minimum of 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive the snowmobile.
- All participants are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver.
- Tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe.
- Snowmobile Tour: You must wear one of the tour provider D.O.T. certified and regularly inspected helmets. Personal helmets are not permitted.
