Are you ready for a breathtaking snowmobile tour?
Explore the wintery wonders of Cougar mountain aboard a snowmobile on this adventure tour, just a 10-minute drive from Whistler Village. Led by an experienced guide, you’ll cruise along a network of beautiful backcountry trails across open meadows and through alpine forests.
You will be able to hit the trails on either a Beginner or Intermediate level tour:
- Beginner Tours: You will be introduced to the sport of snowmobiling in an exciting, safe and informative environment specially designed for first time riders. Once you’ve completed your orientation, you’ll follow your guide and explore magnificent terrain including wide open trails and experience breathtaking views.
- Intermediate Tours: Experience the next step in adventure snowmobiling! With tighter trails and more exciting terrain, Intermediate Tours are designed for those with some experience. You should have some previous snowmobile, ATV or jet-ski experience.
Tour highlights:
- Beginner and Intermediate-level morning snowmobile tour through the magnificent backcountry trails of Cougar Mountain.
- Easy to drive snowmobiles (automatic).
- The ratio of guide to guest is one to five.
- You can drive the snowmobile alone, or ride with another passenger.
What’s included:
- An informative, friendly and professional guide.
- All necessary equipment including DOT certified helmet.
Duration: 2 hours total with approximately 1.5 hours ride time

Need to know:
- Meeting location is at the tour provider's Cougar Mountain base camp, a 10-minute drive from Whistler Village.
- Drivers: All drivers must have a valid Novice or Full (unrestricted) Driver’s License equivalent to a BC Class 5 license. License must be physically presented for check-in at base. No Learners permits will be accepted.
- Passengers must be a minimum age of 6 years old, over 4 feet tall and fit a Department of Transportation XXS full face helmet.
- You must wear one of the tour provider D.O.T. certified and regularly inspected helmets. Personal helmets are not permitted.
- All drivers and passengers are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver.
- What to wear: dress as if you were skiing – warm layers, winter jacket, boots, warm gloves, and snow pants.
- Tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is deemed unsafe.
- No additional damage coverage fees.
