Paddle through False Creek and explore floating homes, marinas, seals, birds, BC Place Stadium, and Science World. Stop at one of Vancouver’s beautiful beaches and fuel up with a coffee and snack before paddling back to Granville Island.
The Kayak and Coffee tour departs from Granville Island at 11:30am. At this time of day, the water is smooth so you can paddle through some of Vancouver’s most luxurious marinas and historic waterways. Your guide will give you a recount of Vancouver’s history while updating you on many of the most interesting and newest ventures of the city.

This 3-hour Vancouver kayak tour is a wonderful experience gift for families, friends, and couples, even those who would be paddling for the first time.
The kayaks come in two basic styles: Sit-inside kayaks and Sit-on-top kayaks. (both are available as singles or doubles*) Sit-on-tops are a great choice for new or nervous paddlers as they are stable, easy to get in and out of and there is no feeling of confinement. Whether you choose a single kayak or a double*, the touring kayaks offer superb stability, comfortable back support, and have plenty of room to stow and strap your gear.

Need to Know:
- No previous experience required.
- If you would like to kayak alone, you must be an experienced kayaker and be able to demonstrate a successful solo rescue.
- You must be able to swim on your own.
- Tours run rain or shine, unless the conditions are dangerous.
- Minimum age for participation is 10 years old.
- Paddlers under the age of 15 must be in the front cockpit of a double kayak with someone who is at least 19 years of age in the back.
- Children under the age of 16 are required to have adult supervision.
