This guided eco-tour is a ‘must do’ for nature lovers.

A 10-minute ferry ride across Toronto’s inner harbour brings you to the only island chain in Western Lake Ontario. If you enjoy watching nature, the Toronto Islands are in the middle of 2 major migratory bird paths and host over 200 species of bird. If you're lucky, you may also see beavers, turtles, American Mink, and a large variety of fish on your eco-tour. Your tour’s path will take you zigzagging through special areas denoted Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest and Environmentally Significant Areas for their important flora and fauna within the ecosystem.

This SUP tour is done in small groups to ensure that everyone has a good experience. No previous experience is necessary. Your guide will adjust the experience to the group.

Once everyone is ready to go, you’ll head out across the lagoon from Sunfish Cut Boat Club and Algonquin Island. You guide will then lead you at a leisurely pace up the lagoon to Sunfish Cut where you’ll experience breathtaking views of the city.

On the tour you will see two Environmentally Significant Areas, Algonquin Island Homes, and have over 10 stops along the way where your guide will inform and answer any all questions.
