Choose from 3 great ways to get out on the water, on a board and learn to SUP:
- Introduction to SUP Session:
This SUP session is designed to help improve your paddling and confidence as you explore different locations on the water. You’ll learn how to effectively use the SUP equipment, as well as gain confidence, techniques, and skills It’s a great way to get out and enjoy this awesome sport under the guidance of a Stand Up Paddleboarding instructor.
- What’s included: Instructor, paddle board, paddle, life jacket, and quick release leash.
- Duration: 1-hour 15-minutes
- When: June – August Thursdays 5:45 pm and 7:15pm Parc Moussette, Gatineau, Quebec VIEW MAP
- Zero to Hero SUP Improvement Session:
Already have some experience Paddleboarding and want to improve? Beginners to experienced SUP Paddlers will enjoy this class designed to suit everyone. This class, with a season SUP instructor, is set up to pass along skills and knowledge as fast as you can absorb. You can expect your SUP skills and confidence on the water to improve dramatically.
- What’s included: Instructor, paddle board, paddle, life jacket, and quick release leash.
- Duration: 1-hour 15-minutes
- When: June – August Mondays 5:45pm Meech Lake, Gatineau Park, Quebec VIEW MAP / Wednesdays 5:45pm Lake-Leamy, Gatineau, Quebec VIEW MAP
- Private SUP Lesson:
Learn to SUP in the spectacular setting of Ottawa or Gatineau waterways. Guided by an experienced instructor, you will learn all the basics of stand-up paddle boarding during a private lesson.
- What’s included: Instructor, paddle board, paddle, life jacket, and quick release leash.
- Duration: 1-hour 15-minutes
- When / Where: June – August at a variety of locations in Ottawa and Gatineau. The experience provider will work with you to find the best time and location for your SUP Lesson.
Need to know:
- Minimum age for participation: 12 years
- What to bring: bathing suit, sunscreen, hat, towel, beach footwear and outer garments to suit conditions for the time of year.
- This experience is weather dependent and may be subject to postponement, in which case your experience will be rescheduled for a later date.
