Do you know someone special in your life who has always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon? A hot air balloon ride over the Toronto area (Kitchener) is the perfect experience gift! The adventure begins when you meet with your pilot, crew and fellow passengers. Once the hot air balloon is inflated, everyone will climb into the basket while the pilot continues to heat up the air inside of the balloon. The balloon will gradually ascend above the treetops, over a thousand feet into the sky and you’ll begin floating over the Southern Ontario. Flying in a hot air balloon is a truly unique experience. You’ll feel like you are in a dream as you gently glide through the sky without the sensation of wind. You’ll will be airborne, depending on weather conditions and wind speed, for approximately one hour. As approach the end of your flight, the hot air balloon will begin to descend back down to earth where you’ll celebrate your adventure with a champagne toast.

May thru October. Valid for ‘Anytime Flight’ Monday to Sunday AM/PM (subject to availability) .Flights take place at Sunrise or approximately 2 hours prior to Sunset. Times will vary upon the time of year the flight is scheduled. Duration: Passenger flights are approximately one hour in length. Flight times can vary from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours depending on the temperature of the air, the amount of fuel on board, the passengers' combined weight and when the pilot finds a suitable landing field.
Need to know:
Minimum age for children is 10 years and accompanied by an adult. The meeting location for your flight will be confirmed when you reserve your flight time. Hot air balloons can carry between 8 to 12 passengers, depending on the basket size. The balloons have turning vents so the pilot can rotate the balloon during flight, giving everyone a 360 degree view. All passengers must be able to climb in and out of the basket, stand for the entire flight and walk out of a field if necessary. Passengers cannot fly if they have recently had injuries, surgery, back/hip/knee problems, health concerns, physical limitations, severe auditory problems or is/may be pregnant. We recommend you wear casual, comfortable clothing. It’s no colder in the air than on the ground but you will be outdoors for 3-4 hours. Dress for the temperature of the day. Solid, flat footwear is essential (no high heels or sandals please). Flights only take place in winds less than 10 knots, with no rain or approaching storms in the immediate area. Flights also require visibility of at least 4 km. If the weather is not safe, the pilot will cancel the flight and you simply reschedule for another date that suits you.
