Get ready to indulge in a half-day adventure through the Okanagan Valley on a guided Kelowna wine tour. You’ll hop on an e-bike and explore three venues for wine and mead tastings. Along the way, you’ll be treated to a farm-to-table lunch at Meadow Vista Honey Wines amidst the beautiful vineyard views.

Your e-bikes will make the journey effortless as the adjustable pedal assist and a throttle option helps you along the way, even allowing for a little boost up hills.

Your knowledgeable and attentive guide will lead you to three exceptional wineries: SpearHead Winery, Sperling Vineyards, and Meadow Vista Honey Wines where you will be treated to a farm-to-table lunch at Meadow Vista Honey Wines with ingredients from their backyard and surrounding farms.

E-bikes: E-bikes work just like a regular bicycle but are slightly heavier, and they only assist you when necessary. With no gas engine, they are quiet and respectful to the environment.  You can cover more distance than our other tours because the e-bikes enable people to go a little further with ease. The e-bikes provide pedal-assisted speeds up to 32 km/h (20 mph), perfect for both efficient travel and leisurely rides.

No prior experience is required. E-bikes are easy to use, and the tour provider will give a thorough tutorial to get you started.

This tour is the perfect balance of fun, insight, and relaxation, and insight, a must-do for wine enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

Tour itinerary:

  • Check in with the tour provider in downtown Kelowna for a pre-departure briefing and get geared up / oriented with your e-bike.
  • Ride to Sperling Vineyards to enjoy your first tastings. At Sperling Vinyards, the high elevation slopes and mineral rich soils on the east benches of Kelowna come to life through their older vines & carefully crafted wines.
  • Ride to SpearHead Winery for your second tastings. SpearHead Winery’s focus is on premium quality wine produced from grapes grown on the estate vineyard (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling).
  • Ride to Meadow Vista for your third tastings and a bistro lunch with farm-to-table ingredients. You’ll get to taste the organic honeys infused in true artisan fashion and sample honey wine meads made using local harvested honey.
  • Bike back to your initial starting point.

Need to know:
  • Riders must be at least 16 years old to ride an e-bike.
  • Minimum age 19 years to consume included wines and honey meads.
  • Participants 16-18 years must be accompanied by a guardian or parent and a liability release and assumption of risk form must be completed prior to departure.
  • Minimum suggested height is 5'0" / 152cm.
  • We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, water, sunscreen, and a fully charged phone to use for the routes app.
  • The route is conducted mostly on bike lanes, some sections are along roads with no bike lanes but are in quieter areas.
  • Each e-bike is equipped with panniers to carry small items like snacks, water bottles, and personal belongings.
  • Maximum number of participants on the tour is 8.
  • Tour guide gratuities are graciously accepted at your discretion.
