Introduction to Scuba Diving, Vancouver

Take the first step in learning to SCUBA dive.

This fun introductory scuba diving course takes place in the safe and controlled setting of an indoor pool. Your instructor will introduce you to the essentials you’ll need to first experience the underwater world. You’ll learn the basics of scuba theory including moving through the water and breathing as well as how to get the most from your equipment. You’ll have plenty of time in the water to learn and play!

This class is a great, low-stress option for those that are interested in scuba diving but who are not sure it is for them. This introductory Scuba Diving class offers you the opportunity to try diving without committing to a full Open Water course.

• Classroom and scuba equipment orientation

• Courses are held once a month year-round *

• The minimum age to participate is 12 years.
• You will need to bring a swim suit and towel.
• When you register for your Discover Scuba Course with International Dive Centre you will need to complete a PADI medical form and if necessary have it signed off by a physician before you attend the course.
