Larch Valley Beginning from the Valley of the Ten Peaks at Moraine Lake, this moderate trail climbs up 10 switchbacks to Larch Valley and then ambles through a larch forest and on towards the Minestimma Lakes and Sentinal Pass with views of Moraine Lake, the Ten Peaks, and gigantic Mt. Temple.
Level of difficulty: Moderate Mondays and Saturdays 9.0km 4-5 hours Consolation Lakes This trail starts in the Valley of the Ten Peaks at stunning Moraine Lake. You'll hike along an old growth forest trail to Consolation Lakes. Here, you’ll see the Fay Glacier atop Mount Babel. On the way back you’ll explore around Moraine Lake, including a trip to the top of the Rockpile.
Level of difficulty: Easy Tuesdays 5.8km 3-4 hours Stanley Glacier In Kootenay National Park, this trail switchbacks moderately for the first half of the hike, allowing for unparalleled views down over Vermillion Pass back to Castle Mountain. You’ll follow the trail between the sheer towering walls of Storm Mountain and Mount Stanley, Here, you'll be treated to views of Stanley Glacier drifting down the side of Mt. Stanley towards the valley bottom.
Sundays and Thursdays Level of difficulty: Moderate 8.4km 3-4 hours Plain of Six Glaciers This hike begins along the Lake Louise shoreline before ascending an ancient glacial valley to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House where cakes and tea are served all day long where you will be treated to views of the six glaciers that feed into the valley and Lake Louise.

Your lunch choices will be selected when you reserve your tour day/time with the tour provider. Feel free to bring snacks and water to supplement lunch. Early season hikes are subject to itinerary changes due to trail conditions. Minimum age is 13 years. Children aged between 13 and 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent or guardian sign their waiver. Children aged 16 – 17 years old may go on the hike without an adult, but a parent must meet the guide in the morning to sign a waiver. Please dress for the weather including lightweight hiking pants, a warm layer, a waterproof jacket, a breathable shirt, a hat, sturdy hiking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a water bottle, a small backpack, and bug spray.
